[a garder] - Introduction to computer vision - Ghent

 We Invite you for a new evening session in March!

What?

Have you ever wondered how the algorithms behind Photoshop work. Or how you can detect/track some objects in a video stream. Then this session will teach you the basics of the complete flow in computer vision. This includes the capturing of video, preprocessing, image segmentation, image representation and description, and finally image recognition and interpretation.

This will be an interactive session, thus make sure to bring your own laptop with python 3.3 or higher and the opencv library installed. (A great IDE to use is pycharm)

Who?

Matthias Hoffman is an embedded software engineer at Nalys since september 2017. He studied Electronics and ICT: Multimedia and Information technology at the University of Ghent where he had couple of courses regarding computer vision.

When?
